Scoring Guide (1–4 Scale)

  • 4 — Strong evidence: Specific examples that clearly demonstrate the quality being evaluated.
  • 3 — Good evidence: Clear response with some supporting detail.
  • 2 — Limited evidence: Generic or incomplete response, with little behavioral evidence.
  • 1 — Insufficient evidence: Does not meaningfully demonstrate the quality being evaluated.

Keep written communication as a rubric category, but do not confuse polished writing with leadership ability. The most important evidence is what candidates have actually changed, how they respond to feedback, and whether they understand their responsibility to the room.
